Virtual Assistant? (VA) |
Why are more small businesses turning to the services of a
Virtual Assistant? Because it saves them

What is a Virtual Assistant? Also known as a
VA for short, a VA is a Personal Assistant (PA) who works as an
independent contractor from their own office, servicing clients'
administrative needs usually at a flat hourly rate. A VA
provides their secretarial services via email, fax, telephone and scanned
correspondence.
Using a VA means:-
- saving you the administration of running a payroll
- no need for staffing overheads such as superannuation,
annual leave, leave loading, backfilling or sick leave
- no payroll tax
- no Work Cover insurance
- no desk space or equipment required for staff OR even an
office if you don't need one
- the VA works from their own office, not yours

Let me introduce myself - my name is Jacqueline Akroyd-Stuart
and I have worked in an administrative capacity in both private
enterprise and State Government for approximately 23 years.
I have worked in the banking industry, hospitality, training
and education in the public sector, wine industry, and for a
chemical company, so variety is my middle name! I can provide my
resumé upon request.
Although I am based in Eumundi near Noosa, I am a
mobile VA and I provide service
Australia wide, but with a local emphasis on the Sunshine Coast. Also,
I can provide service anywhere around the world by utilising
email, fax and scanning. So I am not restricted by distance or
by the 9-5 hours in a normal office. I can help anytime.
I take on all jobs - small, one-off, large, and ongoing or
regular i.e. monthly, and I will ensure a quick turn-around time
for your job.
